Metrics
Metrics can store and recall data, relating to assessments; eg grades, marks, comments. Metrics can be created for each year group. They may be department/subject based or global, eg for exam results. Global metrics are usually specified by the school, eg for reporting.
Metrics for a year group are school wide metrics. Any metric added
(as a school wide metric)will apply across the whole year group.
Departments may also define their own data entry metrics on an individual subject basis. These are set up in exactly the same manner, but within each department area. Different metrics or markbooks can be created for different departments and different subjects;
ie the metrics and markbook structure for Mathematics standard grade can be different from Mathematics Intermediate 2.For each metric, you can determine a variety of settings;
eg MIN MAX values,the display tab, the width of the display column.
