OnTheButton  Lists comprises 3 elements: staff lists, pupil lists & an email client.  OTB already includes a simple email facility, which allows OTB to send email, eg email alert about referrals.

The OnTheButton  email client enhancement provides many more facilities and can be used to send bulk email, eg to members of a “staff” list. The email client can be used, via a browser, even when the user is not at their regular computer. Emails sent using the email client will appear as though they were sent by the user. This means that staff working away from their own computer can use any OTB networked machine to send their own email.

Emails automatically include the email addresses for each of the members of the group and automatically inserts the sender€’s name and email address.
